I am a real  Parisian and have been in Japan for sixteen years, after having traveled all over the world. my name is Marc Paris

" We had a great 8 hour tour of Tokyo with Marc. He customized the tour for our
group. We appreciated him meeting us at our hotel; it made getting started very easy.
Marc showed us the main sights and also took us off the beaten path to some great
spots to view the city. He knew where to find great treats and snacks and found a
very traditional restaurant for lunch where the udon soup was amazing. "

Epic Tokyo: A full-day tailored exploration
" Marc showed us all over Tokyo and helped us figure out how to navigate the trains,
and where things are. He also picked out scrumptious places for us to stop and get
snacks and lunch. He was very friendly, patient with kids and made our landing in
Tokyo enjoyable! We saw more with him in one day than we would have
accomplished in 2 days on our own. He also took us to places we would never have
gone to on our own, and helped us locate great spots in our own neighborhood.

Eat like a true Tokyoite
" Marc Paris was awesome! He was knowledgeable, fun, helpful and helped us plan
the rest of our trip to Tokyo. my wife is Celiac (no gluten) which is challenging in
Japan. Marc found spots for us to try and showed us where the locals would eat. He
recommended spots for our teenagers to shop for manga/anime collectibles, and
helped us organize the places we wanted to go into efficient day trips. Can't

Personalised and great local insights
" Marc gave a personalised bespoke walking tour with some special locations and
practical insights about Tokyo's key neighbourhoods. I had limited time and he
maximised it by keeping good pace (10kms of walking in 3 hours) and making use of
trains and buses to hop to the next location. He was personable and friendly, and can

Marc has a deep knowledge of the city and can adapt the tour to any interests.
" This tour is great as a first or second day activity as you will be able to see A LOT of
the city and use that to plan multiple days worth of activities for later in your trip. Our
guide, Marc, was good about communicating ahead of time and customizing the tour
to our preferences. He is also good about being flexible while on the tour. As we were
nearing the end of our tour, we spotted a roof top terrace and were curious. Not
knowing what it was, we decided to go explore. It turned out to be a tranquil cafe that
was the perfect place to end the tour. It was not frequented by tourists, as they did
not have English speaking staff or English menus, but Marc helped us get situated by
speaking with the staff as the tour ended and left us to enjoy our evening. "

The experience of having a picknick under the Sakura trees was amazing and Marc did a fantastic job securing a spot for us. However, this tour is extremely overpriced. To pay more than 400 euro for a lunch is just tooo much and we even had to pay for our own metro-tickets. Big fail for Viator, but would hire Marc back privately without a doubt!

Marc was the most fabulous guide. He is so knowledgeable about all the different neighborhoods in Tokyo and is very open to hearing your ideas and working with your interests so you can get the most from the experience. Our tour was just me and my 11-year old daughter. Marc made it so much fun! It was actually her birthday and we took her for a special lunch along the way and found some great little shops and lookout points around the City. Marc was even kind enough to meet up with us and his own daughter later in our trip and our kids had so much fun hanging out. We got to visit more authentic places and parts of the City off the beaten track for us. This tour and the time we spent with Marc and his daughter afterwards were the absolute highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it!! I just hope you can walk fast, haha!

My wife and I visited Tokyo on a one day stop from our cruise ship. when we booked the trip, we were sent a questionnaire asking what we wanted to see. Since we were unfamiliar with Tokyo, we left the itinerary up to the guide. We met Marc at a train station not far from where our ship was docked. We walked the streets of Tokyo, toured the Meiji Jingu Temple, visited an outdoor food market are where we sampled and purchased several delicious items. Later we visited the Ginza shopping district. Marc was a great guide, he was able to provide good insight on living and working in Tokyo. He was able to answer any questions we asked. Definitly would recommend.
