I am a real  Parisian and have been in Japan for sixteen years, after having traveled all over the world. my name is Marc Paris

It is here that I finally decided to put my suitcases motivated by the desire to see my children grow up and to share with them every precious moment. Now that they have gained autonomy,

Marc was excellent in providing us an introductions to the many sights of Tokyo. We thought 4 hours was a long time but we barely scratched the surface. There were so many things to do and so many places to see. But he was able to help us navigate the complicated Metro system and provided us with very helpful tips on how to maximize our time in Tokyo. Having kids of his own, Marc was able to engaged skillfully with our daughter and made the experience even more meaningful for us. If you want someone to show you Tokyo like a local would see it, or visit the most touristy attractions with insider knowledge on how to avoid the crowds all with a kind, personable and knowledgeable expert... then Marc is your man!!! He did all that I asked to what we wanted to do and see and I provided very little direction. Plus, I had teenagers and he was able to interact with them in such a positive way that they thoroughly enjoyed our day together and never complained once. They actually asked for more days with Marc. You cannot go wrong. I know when I come back first call I make is to Marc to understand what we should plan next! I would give ten stars if I were allowed.

Had a fantastic tour of Tokyo with Marc. His extensive experience of living in Japan really made the tour highly entertaining and informative. From the best places to eat around our location in Shinjuku, to some great viewpoints in downtown Tokyo (avoiding the usual tourist haunts), made the experience absolutely memorable! The experience of having a picknick under the Sakura trees was amazing and Marc did a fantastic job securing a spot for us. However, this tour is extremely overpriced. To pay more than 400 euro for a lunch is just tooo much and we even had to pay for our own metro-tickets. Big fail for Viator, but would hire Marc back privately without a doubt!

Marc was the most fabulous guide. He is so knowledgeable about all the different neighborhoods in Tokyo and is very open to hearing your ideas and working with your interests so you can get the most from the experience. Our tour was just me and my 11-year old daughter. Marc made it so much fun! It was actually her birthday and we took her for a special lunch along the way and found some great little shops and lookout points around the City. Marc was even kind enough to meet up with us and his own daughter later in our trip and our kids had so much fun hanging out. We got to visit more authentic places and parts of the City off the beaten track for us. This tour and the time we spent with Marc and his daughter afterwards were the absolute highlight of our trip. I highly recommend it!! I just hope you can walk fast, haha!

We had a wonderful time with Marc yesterday. He helped us orientate ourselves around Tokyo in relation to where we were staying and helped us understand the train system. We went to the fish markets, Ginza and walked the streets of a number of shopping areas which was great! We also had the best dumplings I have ever had for lunch in a place we would never have found on our own!

We booked a tour with Mark and we are lucky we did. Mark is very knowledgeable and experienced as a guide. Only thing we regret is that we picked only 3 hours tour. It took me couple weeks reviewing taken pictures to realize how many places we visited and how much we learned in those 3h. Thanks, Mark. On another note, on that day my steps count exceeded the one I had on a hike in Grand Canion. Wow!

My wife and I visited Tokyo on a one day stop from our cruise ship. when we booked the trip, we were sent a questionnaire asking what we wanted to see. Since we were unfamiliar with Tokyo, we left the itinerary up to the guide. We met Marc at a train station not far from where our ship was docked. We walked the streets of Tokyo, toured the Meiji Jingu Temple, visited an outdoor food market are where we sampled and purchased several delicious items. Later we visited the Ginza shopping district. Marc was a great guide, he was able to provide good insight on living and working in Tokyo. He was able to answer any questions we asked. Definitly would recommend.
